What do you get for your money?

The ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 14 remains consistently focused on mobility. At 998 grams, it is one of the lightest devices in its size class and remains just under the 1 kg mark despite its 14'' display. Compared with the 950-gram X1 Carbon Gen 13, it is somewhat heavier, but for students who carry their laptop every day, the low weight remains a major advantage. The compact 65 W GaN power adapter included in the box weighs only 110 grams as well.

The Intel Core Ultra 7 355, 32 GB of RAM and the 1 TB SSD provide enough performance and headroom for office work, research, statistics, large spreadsheets, programming and everyday data analysis. However, the integrated Intel graphics are only suitable to a limited extent for graphics-intensive 3D applications.

The 2.8K OLED display offers a premium viewing experience with 500 nits, 100% DCI-P3 coverage and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The high resolution provides plenty of workspace, while the wide color gamut also makes it well suited to photo editing and demanding visualizations. The anti-reflective surface reduces distracting reflections.

The X1 Carbon is also WWAN-ready, allowing a 4G or 5G module to be added depending on the configuration.

Who is this device for?

The X1 Carbon Gen 14 is primarily aimed at users who value low weight more than maximum graphics performance. It is very well suited for university, school, software development, office work, statistics and data-oriented tasks. For demanding CAD, rendering or 3D projects, a device with a dedicated and, where applicable, certified graphics card is the more suitable choice.

What warranty does the laptop include?

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 14 comes with a three-year internationally valid on-site warranty including Premier Support and ADP. In the event of a warranty claim, a Lenovo technician will come to your home to repair your device. Premier Support means that you can register your warranty claim via a dedicated telephone number and that it remains with a single point of contact.
With Premier Plus Support, you also get 3 years of battery warranty as well as an ADP - Accidental Damage Protection - extension. This protects your device against accidental damage or accidents.
