What do you get for your money?

The Lenovo ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1 Gen 1 is the most affordable convertible in Lenovo's current lineup. The device is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor (U5-225U), 16 GB RAM, and a 512 GB SSD. The performance is easily sufficient for common applications in school, university, and everyday office use.

The 14-inch display in 16:10 format offers WUXGA resolution (1920x1200), 400 nits brightness, and supports touch and pen input. It is glossy and therefore reflects light in unfavorable lighting conditions, but offers good display quality and supports Low Blue Light. Color accuracy is rather low at 45% NTSC and sufficient for simple applications, but not suitable for graphically demanding work. The matching stylus is included in the scope of delivery, but cannot be stored in the case and must be transported separately.

Weighing 1.4 kg, with Wi-Fi 6E and Thunderbolt 4, the device is well suited for mobile use. Biometric login is convenient via infrared camera or fingerprint sensor.

Who is this device suitable for?

The T14s 2-in-1 is suitable for students and pupils looking for a most affordable convertible with good build quality.

It is ideal for taking notes with a pen, reading and editing texts, or working with PDFs. However, it is not suitable for graphics-intensive applications such as CAD, 3D modeling, or graphic design. The display only covers 45% of the NTSC color space and therefore does not offer sufficient color accuracy for precise visual work.

What warranty does the laptop have?

The ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1 Gen 1 comes with a three-year on-site warranty including Premier Plus Support, which is valid internationally. In the event of a warranty claim, a Lenovo technician will visit your home to repair your device. Premier Support means that you can register your warranty claim via a dedicated phone number and it will remain with a single point of contact. With ADP (Accidental Damage Protection) included in the price, your device is covered against accidental damage or accidents. The battery is also covered by the warranty for the entire duration of the warranty period.
