What do you get for your money?

The Intel Core Ultra 7 366H, 64 GB of RAM and the 1 TB SSD provide plenty of performance headroom for extensive CAD projects, simulations, software development and processing large datasets. Multiple virtual machines or memory-intensive technical applications can also be run in parallel.

The NVIDIA RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell with 8 GB of dedicated graphics memory is the most powerful graphics card among the Neptun workstations currently offered. It is suitable for demanding 3D models, GPU-accelerated rendering and technical visualizations in CAD and engineering applications, as well as smaller machine-learning projects.

The matte 16-inch display provides plenty of workspace for complex models, large spreadsheets and multiple application windows thanks to its high resolution. Its high brightness and full coverage of the DCI-P3 colour space are also useful for photo and video editing. Unlike the ThinkPad P1 Gen 8, however, the display does not support touch or pen input.

With modern connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 7, Thunderbolt 4 and Thunderbolt 5, the device is ready for virtually any scenario. Sign-in can be performed using the fingerprint reader or infrared camera. At around 1.8 kg, the P1 remains comparatively mobile for a powerful 16-inch workstation.

Who is this device suitable for?

The ThinkPad P1 Gen 9 is aimed at pupils and students with high demands for graphics and computing performance. For office work, research and typical study tasks, the specifications are considerably more than necessary.

What warranty does the laptop have?

The Lenovo ThinkPad P1 Gen 9 comes with a three-year internationally valid on-site warranty including Premier Plus Support. In the event of a warranty claim, a Lenovo technician will come to your home to repair the device. Premier Plus Support means that you can report your warranty claim via a dedicated telephone number and that it remains with a single point of contact. The included ADP – Accidental Damage Protection – covers your device against accidental damage or accidents. The battery is also covered by the warranty.
