The HP EliteBook 8 Flip G1i 13 (U5) is the upgrade to the Pro series and HP’s entry point into the Elite convertible lineup. It’s a versatile convertible device for students looking for an affordable, flexible, and modern tool for school and study. Its practical form factor and integrated rechargeable stylus, stored directly inside the chassis, make it ideal for handwritten notes, sketches, and annotations whenever you need them.

Inside, it features a latest-generation Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, paired with 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD. This makes it well suited for everyday tasks such as document editing, presentations, research, video conferencing, and basic data processing.

The 13.3-inch glossy touchscreen in a 16:10 format offers a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels, reaches 300 nits of brightness, and covers 62.5% of the sRGB color space—more than enough for standard school and college tasks.

Weighing just 1.4 kg (3.1 lbs), the device is easy to carry around. With Wi-Fi 7, you’re also up to date on wireless connectivity. Three USB-C ports (including two Thunderbolt 4 ports), a traditional USB-A port, and HDMI 2.1 provide plenty of options for connecting peripherals and displays.

Who is this device for?
