What do you get for your money?
An all-rounder convertible in EliteBook quality: The laptop model is 1.35 kg light and, with its 13" and high-quality workmanship, is a good size for everyday mobile studying. The casing is made of aluminum, the trackpad is pleasantly large and made of glass. Equipped with an i5 processor of the 13th and latest generation, 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD. In terms of performance, this configuration is suitable for everyday use in all non-technical degree programs. The screen is 400 nits bright, matt, offers a writing feel like on paper and annoying reflections on the display are greatly reduced compared to glossy screens, which is an advantage in unfavorable or changing lighting conditions. The included pen can be charged via USB-C and adheres magnetically to the casing. We have not yet been able to measure the battery life, but based on our experience with previous generations and a 51 Wh battery, we expect it to last around 10 hours. Our own measurements will follow as soon as possible.
What warranty does the laptop have?
The HP Elite x360 830 G10 has a three-year, internationally valid on-site warranty including ADP (Accidental Damage Protection). In the event of a warranty claim, the HP technician will come to your home to repair your device. With ADP included in the price, your device is protected against accidental damage or accidents. The battery is also covered by the warranty.
What else you should know:
The laptop comes with Windows 11 Pro. The keyboard is available in Swiss layout. If the 13'' screen is not big enough for long writing sessions, you can connect the laptop to an external monitor via USB-C (please check connection options for older monitors).
