What do you get for your money?
The Intel Core Ultra 7 268V and 32 GB of RAM provide enough performance for office work, research, statistics, software development and larger data analyses. The RAM is soldered to the motherboard and cannot be expanded. The 1 TB SSD offers plenty of space for extensive projects and local datasets.The high-resolution OLED display renders colors vividly and with very high contrast. The 90 Hz refresh rate also makes scrolling and working feel smoother. With 100% DCI-P3 coverage, the device is well suited for photo and video editing. The glossy surface delivers a sharp image, but can reflect light in unfavorable conditions. The touchscreen allows direct operation, but the device is not designed for pen input.
With two Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI and a classic USB-A port, the notebook can be flexibly connected to docks, monitors and existing peripherals. Security is handled by a fingerprint sensor and a TPM 2.0 module that supports encryption of sensitive data. The backlit keyboard and precise trackpad make it comfortable to work on for long periods.
At 1.2 kg, the device remains easy to carry, though it is somewhat heavier than especially lightweight alternatives within the high-end business class. The 8 MP webcam is suitable for regular video conferencing.

The Dell Pro 14 Premium is aimed at students and users looking for a high-quality work device for business, computer science, data analysis, communication or creative projects. The integrated Intel Arc graphics can handle photo editing, smaller 3D projects and occasional gaming. For CAD applications with smaller models, the performance may be sufficient.
